Authorities are searching rugged terrain after they found a personal item they believe belongs to a Colorado woman who went missing on Mother’s Day.

Morphew was out on a bike ride in the area of Chaffee County, located near Colorado Springs on May 10, and when the mother of two didn’t come home from her bike ride, her neighbor reported her missing, according to Fox News.

Nearly 90 investigators have spent days looking for her using drones, scent dogs and flyover missions.

According to the Daily Mail, the bike she used during the ride was found on the evening of May 10, but as of Saturday, she remains missing.

On Thursday, they found what could be her personal item, Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said Friday in a statement. It did not say what the item was or where it was found.

“While investigators aren’t releasing details about what may have been found, they can confirm that Ms. Morphew has not yet been located to date,” the sheriff’s office said.

Local, state and federal investigators are searching steep and rugged terrain in an effort to find any additional items, authorities said.

Trevor Noel, Morphew’s nephew told KRDO that the family has put together a $200,000 reward for the safe return of Morphew, offered up by her husband and a family friend.

“The $200,000 means that we’ll do whatever we can to get her back safely. No questions asked,” said Noel.

In addition to the local authorities searching for Morphew, her family is also conducting their own search on the missing 49-year-old woman as well, according to the Mail.

“We are progressing and are NOT slowing down the search. We are covering the mountains on foot and ATV when possible and all surrounding areas looking for any sign of her,” Noel said.

In addition, Fox News reported that the FBI has also joined in on the search for Morphew, and according to Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze, her case was now an open criminal investigation.

The FBI has set up a dedicated tip line at 719-312-7530 for any leads.
