Twitter CEO Elon Musk weighed in on the topic of overpopulation on Monday. Commenting on a tweet about a CBS segment featuring American biologist Paul Ehrlich, Musk tweeted “His ‘Population Bomb’ book might the most damaging anti-human thing ever written.”
In the segment, Ehrlich predicts “humanity is not sustainable,” and that “the next few decades will be the end of the kind of civilization we’re used to.”
NTD spoke with Samuel Gregg with the American Institute for Economic Research about the topic. Gregg has written sixteen books on economics and other topics.
He thinks Ehrlich’s latest prediction will be proven false again, and the human mind is the greatest resource there is.
