Thanksgiving is just over a week away.

Macy’s is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving Day parade.

This year, the parade will feature five new floats, which made their debut on Nov. 13, with children getting the first look.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be making an appearance on Thursday.

A jungle-themed float from Kalahari Resort will feature a gigantic elephant, along with some other animals.

A “Kinder” float will celebrate all things Chocolate. Yes, it’s a chocolate factory float.

“Christmas is coming. We’re opening up the holiday season and this year we’re opening it in a really really cool way.” Says John Piper, from Macy’s Parade Studio.

The oldest float in the parade is getting a makeover from top to tail. Tom Turkey has been repainted entirely. And it’s not just the look, the float has now become the parade’s first self-propelled float.

Don’t forget there are also a handful of new balloons, so be sure to check out this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
