Cynthia Sun, senior researcher at the Falun Dafa Information Center, joined Steve Lance, NTD Washington, D.C. bureau chief and host of Capitol Report, to discuss Wednesday's China Human Rights Fair on Capitol Hill, an event she hosted with the office of U.S. Rep. Young Kim (R-Calif.). The event brought together survivors of religious and ethnic persecution in China.

Sun also discussed the millions of Uyghurs, Falun Gong practitioners, underground house church Christians, and others suffering religious persecution inside China and how the numbers are likely higher because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) does not allow independent investigators to verify those numbers.

She spoke on the bipartisan support in Congress for legislation like the Falun Gong Protection Act and the message it sends to the CCP. Sun also described the regime's transnational repression of Chinese dissidents and American citizens in the United States.
