After more than six weeks of testimony, the prosecution and defense both rested their cases in the sex trafficking trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Tuesday.

The music mogul is standing trial on five criminal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs pleaded not guilty, and decided not to testify on his own behalf.

Lawyers for Combs acknowledged that their client was occasionally violent in domestic relationships, but argued the sexual encounters known as "freak offs" were consensual.

Closing arguments are expected to begin on Thursday.
