He told NTD that the Iranians still do not understand and are just trying to string the U.S. along. The IRGC has only 200,000 people compared to the Iranian nation’s almost 100 million, he said; therefore, the regime must maintain an economic or military death grip in order to survive, as there’s no way the people will accept them as leaders as they are.
