President Donald Trump said on Sunday that his administration would make an announcement about its autism findings on Monday. The president says he believes it will be one of the most important things his administration does.

Autism diagnoses in the United States have increased dramatically since 2000, raising concerns among medical practitioners and families. By 2020, the U.S. autism rate among 8-year-olds was one in 36. The CDC reported in 2000 that the number was 1 in 150.
