More than 100,000 fireworks were recalled on Thursday over potential burn hazards.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Winco Fireworks had recalled two of its products over explosion and burn hazards.

The first recalled product is the "Unity" 7 Shot 200 Gram Aerial Cake. A firework cake is a shaped box with multiple firework launchers that fires them in sequence or in groups. According to the recall notice, the box can tip over, posing a risk of serious injury from explosion and burn hazards. No injuries have yet been reported.

These fireworks come in a red, white, and blue package with the word "Unity" written on it, with images of American flags in the background. The model number is MEF6096, and the manufacturing dates are between March 16 and May 18, 2026. The fireworks were made in China and imported by Winco Fireworks International, LLC, of Grandview, Missouri; they were sold at Pyro City and other independent fireworks retailers around the country between January and May 2026 for between $6 and $8. A total of 87,120 units are affected by the recall.

Customers who bought these fireworks are urged not to use the recalled fireworks and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

The other product recalled by Winco is the Roman Candles 8 Shot 3-Pack Firework Devices. The recall notice states that shots can blow out of the side of the tube, causing injury. No injuries were reported so far.

The Roman candles come in a pack of three, in red, white, and blue tubes. The packaging has a red, white, and blue label with the word “Hometown” written on it, and American flags in the background. The model number is RCLR-W8012. They were also made in China, and sold at Pyro City stores and independent retailers nationwide between April 2026 and June 2026 for between $17 and $19. A total of 13,500 units were affected. As with the firework cakes, customers of the Roman candles are urged to return the affected items to the store for a full refund.

In June, the CPSC recalled a China-made fireworks product sold in Pennsylvania over similar explosion and burn risks.

The recall targets Pyro Diablo “Diablo Rising” 9 Shots fireworks, a multi-shot aerial device that regulators say exceeds federal safety limits for pyrotechnic composition. The overload can lead to a stronger-than-expected blast, increasing the risk of serious injury or death from explosions and burns.

“Overloaded fireworks can result in a greater than expected explosion,” the CPSC said.

About 1,060 units are affected by the recall, which involves the model PD-C5001. The product is packaged with an orange dragon set against a blue and purple background, with identifying information and warning labels printed on the top and front.

The fireworks were sold at Bada Boom Fireworks retail locations in Pennsylvania between March and May 2026 for approximately $45. The importer, Bada Boom Fireworks of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, sourced the product from China.

No injuries or incidents have been reported so far.

Consumers are being urged to stop using the fireworks immediately and return them for a full refund.
