The practice of forced demolition appears to be alive and well in Beijing.
According to sources close to the situation, the ministry in one local township ordered the teardown of three houses. All the properties belonged to independent candidates for deputy positions in China’s National People’s Congress.
The process also injured several members of the candidates’ families.
