Tortured, beaten, imprisoned, killed, and ostracized—these and other abuses are some of what Falun Gong practitioners routinely suffer in China. And the Chinese Communist Party has largely covered them up for the past 23 years.
The U.S. State Department stated Thursday that the persecution is “unacceptable and must end.”
