Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) and Sound-of-Freedom movie inspiration Tim Ballard criticized the Department of Homeland Security’s handling of the U.S.–Mexico border at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on Sept. 13. The hearing was titled “An Unbearable Price: The Devastating Human Costs of the Biden-Mayorkas Border Crisis.”
The comments come in the wake of an Inspector General’s recent report, which revealed that some 85,000 undocumented children have crossed the southern border and been reported as missing.
