Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s daughter, Willow Bailey, revealed on social media that she is pregnant with twins, according to multiple reports.
The 24-year-old took to her Instagram account and made the announcement on May 27, writing that she was completely overjoyed to be having twins with her husband Ricky Bailey.
“[Ricky Bailey] and I are so excited to welcome TWO little babies into this world! Baby Bailey’s arriving December 2019,” Willow Bailey wrote on her post.
The post featured an image that had two baby shirts placed on either side of a picture frame with the words, “and then there were four,” along with an ultrasound photo of the twins.
Many people commented on her post, congratulating her on her pregnancy, and among them was her mother, who commented on her daughter’s post with an abundance of celebratory and baby-related emojis, along with the words, “ECSTATIC & BLESSED x2.”
It’s safe to assume that the former Alaskan governor is happy about her daughter having twins.
According to E! News, Willow Bailey’s sister, Piper Palin, also commented on her sister’s post with her congratulations. She further expressed her excitement on her own Instagram story, writing, “so excited for my sister and brother-in-law! TWO babies!!”
According to the media outlet, Willow was engaged to her now husband while in New York City in December 2017. Sarah Palin posted a photograph of the two at the Rockefeller Center, with Ricky down on one knee.
“Good things happen!!! My happiest baby girl Willow and Ricky, last night at Rockefeller Center!!” Sarah Palin wrote. “So, so happy.”
Willow herself posted about her engagement on Instagram, saying that she couldn’t wait to marry Ricky.
“Cannot wait to marry my best friend! Love you forEVVV RickyB!!”
Following their engagement, the pair got married in September 2018, with Willow writing on her Instagram, “the most perfect day.”
Following her wedding, she made a post with one of her wedding photos, writing, “Saturday was a dream! It was everything we could have imagined on our wedding day and more. Thank you to our closest friends and family for coming to celebrate with us! Especially our parents for all their love and support.”
Sarah Palin echoed Willow’s sentiments and wrote on her Instagram post on her daughter’s marriage preparations, saying, “it’s a glorious feeling to have something so wonderful to look forward to,” and “I couldn’t be happier!”
According to PEOPLE, Willow will be the second Palin daughter to become a mother once she has her twins come December. Her sister, Bristol Palin, had two children with her ex-husband, Dakota Meyers—Atlee, a 2-year-old, and Sailor, a 3-year-old. She also shares 10-year-old son, Tripp with her ex, Levi Johnston.
