Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told reporters at a Pentagon press briefing on Thursday that the United States will respond to the terror attacks against U.S. troops in Jordan on Jan. 28, which cost the lives of 3 U.S. service members. However, he said the retaliatory action would be taken “when we choose, where we choose, and how we choose.”
Mr. Austin also criticized what he termed an “Axis of Resistance” in the region, comprised of terror groups that he said were being funded and trained by Iran.
