Shen Yun is ‘breathtaking’ and a ‘must-see’ show, say Hawaiian audiences

“Brilliant, and breathtaking, and spectacular,” is how one audience member in Honolulu, Hawaii, described Shen Yun.

Samuel Levitz, an entrepreneur, gave a rave review after attending the show on May 7.

“Breathtaking. It’s magnificent. It’s a historical, educational, fantasy come to life in front of your eyes,” said Levitz. “Obviously very well orchestrated, very organized, beautiful costumes, amazing dance,” he said.

“I love the backgrounds and the visual effects are incredible actually,” he added.

The classical Chinese dance company just wrapped up performances at the second to last destination of its 2017 global tour.

“I think it’s beautiful, so elegant and flowing, and those leaping young people, they’re just gorgeous,” said Pat Fox, an artist.

“It’s so much fun, and I really think that men would enjoy being in more dance classes if they were able to perform this way,” said English teacher Christine Williamson. “I loved learning about all the different regions, the differences between the dances are just amazing. The colors are spectacular and vibrant. It’s been really enjoyable.”

“Educational, a must-see. I think everyone should come and watch this performance. It’s suitable for all age groups. It’s something that people should be knowledgeable about,” she added.

Shen Yun is currently performing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
