Shen Yun Performing Arts was warmly received by a full house in Füssen, Germany, on April 5. Transported on a mesmerizing journey through ancient China, audience members were left in awe of the beauty of the performance.

Ursula Buchfellner, a former actress said, “I’m speechless. I didn’t expect that you could express such depth with dance. I almost can’t find the words, I’m deeply touched.”

“The mix, the music, it’s very nice. It’s wonderful, so smooth and fantastic. I have to admire the dancers, their movements, their synchronicity. I really like it,” said Thomas Reitzer, a financial expert.

Michael Mirau, a consultant said, “The music goes right into your heart, but it also inspires you so that you don’t just stay seated, but you want to take off. You want to jump into the air with the dancers and just dance along.”

Shen Yun aims to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture and virtues, a heritage that ancient Chinese people believed was divinely inspired. Many in the audience were deeply moved by the performance and its mission.

Mr. Mirau added that “respect is part of it, and appreciation is definitely an important aspect of Chinese culture. That impressed me. It’s something you can take with you into your life.”

“The message is that everything is connected and that tradition should be preserved. That we are not all on our own, but that it is a great togetherness and that this should take place in an orderly and well-maintained manner,” said Klaus Wehrmann, an engineer and former pilot.

“In these times, there are so many influences that prevent [tradition] and don’t want people to grow up. To be strong, to have faith, and to be connected to the Divine. It’s very nice that this is being addressed and remembered here,” said Andreas Schuster, a daycare center director.

Shen Yun will be performing in Bergen, Norway, on April 15 and 16.
