Audiences Praise Shen Yun: ‘Absolutely Phenomenal’

January 8, 2024

Shen Yun Performing Arts started its world tour in December 2023. Audiences from Savanna, Chattanooga, and Dayton caught a glimpse of divinely inspired culture while watching Shen Yun Performing Arts.

“It’s fantastic, it’s a really great show. It’s a great representation of Chinese culture. It’s just a wonderful show,” said Thomas Strobhar, owner of Thomas Strobhar Financial.

“I think it’s one of the most beautiful shows I’ve ever seen. I think it’s absolutely phenomenal. I love the costumes, everything is beautiful. The musicians are awesome, the production is fantastic,” said Casey Wenum, an airplane pilot.

John Jerman, the owner of Office Furniture Center, enjoyed the performance of Shen Yun very much.

“It was fantastic, I’m so glad we got to come tonight. The dancing was spectacular, first time I’ve ever seen it, first time. It was spectacular. I love the costumes, I love the dance the graceful sleeves. I also just love the singing, it was incredible. And the orchestra was fantastic, they did an awesome job.”

Traditional Chinese culture is inspired by the divine. Shen Yun sheds light on the current persecution of faith in China.

“Chinese people, spiritual people have been denied by the communist party because of their religious beliefs. And practitioners of Falun Gong have been persecuted and abused. And it’s just wonderful that this message is brought to all of us in this town,” said Mr. Strobhar.

“The effort to bring the tradition, the old tradition, back because it’s a great way to be. It’s fantastic, the message is great. And the show itself is absolutely stunning. The color and the production is … It gives you goosebumps,” said Michael Reynolds, a TV producer.

Mr. Jerman felt there was a message to receive from the show.

“There’s a future, there’s a heaven beyond this. And there’s a better world, and we’re just here for a short time. We all have a message, we all have something we’re supposed to be doing to help one another. I think this is what this message was about tonight. We’re here for a purpose.”
