Shen Yun Performing Arts dazzled audiences in Guadalajara, Mexico, on May 6. Audience members commented on the beauty and artistry of the performance.

“This is the first time we’ve been to a show like this, and honestly, it’s absolutely beautiful. I had no idea how much it would move me emotionally until I experienced it for myself. So for me, it was something very special. I loved it,” said María Eugenia Álvarez Hernández, a physician.

“It was truly very exciting, a truly beautiful show, full of professionals, full of grace, and full of anticipation. Honestly, there’s still so much to come. Very exciting,” said Mayra Rodríguez, a general manager.

Based in New York, Shen Yun has been touring the world since 2006, on a mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture from before communism.

“Tonight was magical, it was something that transported you back in time, to a different place, a different continent. We traveled all the way to China, we got to experience the culture, watch a live orchestra, listen to the music live, and see the dancers; they were all perfectly in sync, putting on a truly beautiful show. The truth is, there are no words to describe how I feel because I’m so happy, honestly,” said Miguel Ángel Vera Lopez, a business owner.

“I think that one important point would be to recognize that this way of relating to others is based on tolerance and understanding. I think that’s one of the messages that has stayed with me,” said Ms. Hernández.

“The director really has an imagination. There were things on stage that really surprised me. Those appearances they made from behind the stage were amazing,” said Ms. Luis Mario Briseño García, a physician.

Ms. Rodriguez said, “I highly recommend it, seriously. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and the music is spectacular, truly beautiful. It really invites you to experience a sense of peace.”
