“I liked it very much. What was special was the 3D technology, where the performers come from the background onto the stage and then go back again. The different dance styles, the performances by the artists, and the music were truly unique,” Jörg Schmidt, a private investor, said.
“Yes, it was wonderful. It was dreamlike, with the costumes, the colors, and the performers were wonderful. Everything fit together perfectly, and it was a perfect production,” Elisabeth Roselli, an accountant, said.
Martin Küspert, a dental technician, said, “Amazing, I have never seen anything like it before. At first, it is truly surprising when you see the initial effect, and how beautifully it is integrated with the dancers. Everything is wonderful.”
“It is very good and very fitting to combine tradition with spiritual elements,” Jörg Holzmann, a medical engineering professor, said.
Mr. Schmidt added, “It was the first time I had ever seen something like this. I had heard a lot about it before. I would say that [authentic] Chinese culture is different from what we have here in Europe. It is inspiring when you take it in. The discipline shown is also very unique.”
Based in New York, Shen Yun tours the world with eight different companies, bringing an all-new performance each year, with brand-new dances, music, and stories.
Carola Moser, a psychotherapist, said, “Everything was wonderful. The tenor, the song, the singing, the dances, all wonderful.”
Ms. Roselli said, “I can definitely recommend it. It is worth seeing, it is wonderful to watch. It is truly something for the soul. You can let your mind relax and unwind. You become fascinated and drawn into what is being presented. It is beautiful!”
