Shen Yun Performing Arts took the stage in Osaka, Japan, on Feb. 6 and Feb. 7. It’s the final stop of their Japan tour and audience members described the artistry and beauty of the performance.

“The artists disappeared and then reappeared on stage at the same time, creating a seamless transition between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional worlds. I was truly moved by this, thinking that they had reached a new realm,” said Miki Ogasahara, an artist.

“[The dances] have a beautiful flow, the flow of a river. The beauty and strength is beautiful, and I think it's wonderful that the artists are so pure of heart,” said Koichi Fujimoto, a company president.

“[The songs] really resonate, it feels like something that touches people’s hearts,” said Kanuhisa Ogawa, a company president.

“I could understand it very well, because the lyrics of the song were also written in Japanese. I thought this was important because of its message and expressive power,” he said.

Since 2006, Shen Yun has traveled the world with a mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture and virtues, an effort that has deeply moved audiences.

“I think that [morality] is starting to fade even in Japan today, so I think it is important to have more people see the performance and pass on this feeling to the younger generations,” said Kazuko Sakane, a real estate association director.

“China in particular has a very deep historical background. So I felt that the intention to respect that history was very admirable,” said Nobuo Nakanishi, a former company executive.

“You have brightened my heart. I am glad I saw the performance,” said Tsutomu Okada, a former company executive.

Shen Yun will be performing at the CFISD Visual and Performing Arts Center in Houston, Texas, on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16.
