Shen Yun Performing Arts successfully closed the curtain on 2 performances in Ludwigsburg, Germany, on March 2 and 3. Audience members praised Shen Yun’s artistry and said they were enchanted by the performance.

“This is a highly professional dance performance. This is great, it’s incredible. The body, the choreography, it’s at the highest artistic level,” said Evert van Grootel, a music teacher and singer.

“Unique, with so much passion, so much light in their hearts, and so much elegance and precision. Everything was so coherent and you could only marvel at it. It was truly wonderful. The artists are one of a kind,” said Stephanie Böringer, an entrepreneur.

“The connection with the modern, with the film culture and with the videography in the background, that was nice, that was beautiful,” said Till Biedermann, a hospital department head.

Shen Yun’s mission is to revive 5,000 years of divinely inspired Chinese civilization from before communism. Theatergoers commended that mission, and the values Shen Yun showcases on stage.

“[Traditional values] are very important to me because they are being lost and we are heading in the wrong direction, which could lead to tragic consequences if things continue this way. If all countries and people took these values into account again, I believe the world would become more harmonious and beautiful,” said Karl-Heinz Faulhaber, a company managing director.

“It was very nice to see this connection, this divinity, and also this aspect that we in the Western world often lack, which is being separated from God, from unity, and focused on the material, detached from the sense of connectedness. That’s why it was so great to see that this is the true tradition of China,” said Daniel Böringer, a company managing director.

“You have to see it at least once in your life. That is my personal opinion. It is very unique. It’s not just the dance performance, the music, the singing, but everything combined, including the content of the singing itself that makes you think,” he said.

Shen Yun will perform in Leipzig, Germany, from March 7 through 9.
