“You were exquisite. Your dancing was perfection. And just the way you showed the costumes, just the beauty of the way you made everything flow. But they were exquisite dancers. Exquisite. I don’t think you’ll get better than that,” said Stacey Garacia, a talent director.
Pascal Partouche, an attorney, said, “It was just an amazing experience. There have been a number of years I wanted to do it, and we finally did it. The way [it’s all] organized, the coordination, the precision, the colors, the music, is just a different experience.”
“I think it’s beautiful. It’s nice to watch the culture, very well put together. It definitely keeps you entertained and engaged. The costumes are beautiful. I’m enjoying it,” said Christina Ambrosio, a lawyer.
“Very inspiring. And the ability of the dancers is just superb. We enjoyed it very much,” said Yafit Partouche, a physician.
Ms. Garacia said “Humanity at its best. It makes you want to be good. It makes you want to do good. Because remember, there’s life after this. And what you do, what they say in one piece, ‘You Reap What You Sow’.”
“Takeaway it’s that people need to watch what they are doing and do the right things for humanity,” said Marek Pernis, a business owner.
Shen Yun’s performances also shine a light on the brutal persecution of faith in modern China under the Chinese Communist Party. That’s part of the reason why Shen Yun cannot perform in China.
Roger Delisle, a business owner, said “I think overcoming obstacles, the plight to have the faith in themselves, and maybe God. I think something they overcome is righteousness, and I believe no one should be suppressed. And I think that’s a strong message that they’re overcoming.”
“It’s a very mature and wise message, the message from the show, the beauty, the togetherness, the good in people, and trying to convey that message is very strong, and you can feel it at the moment of the performance. The emotions just grow within you when you watch the show. So I really enjoyed it,” said Mr. Partouche.
Ms. Garacia said, “Storytelling at its best, exquisite. And you could feel the passion. You could feel it. It was fabulous. And I’m so glad I got to see it. Come and see it because it’s wonderful. It was wonderful.”
