To enhance the competitiveness of eco-friendly textiles, Wang Yeh-hsun came up with the innovative idea of utilizing the oyster shells that are plentiful in his hometown.
"In Yunlin, where I grew up, back before the introduction of quicklime, people plastered their walls with lime from burnt oyster shells. The lime plaster made homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wanted to see if I could use oyster shells in textiles," he said.

Additionally, incorporating oyster shells into textiles can help reduce carbon emissions and minimize plastic usage, making the resulting products more environmentally friendly.
The key to unlocking the benefits of oyster shells lies in the processing temperature and the fineness of the powder. To guarantee the highest quality raw material, Creative Tech has invested in a nano-grade milling plant. Their proprietary nano-particle dispersion technology ensures that the nano-grade oyster shell powder is evenly distributed throughout the textile fibers.
