March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day, so we are traveling from Washington, D.C., to South Carolina, to Los Angeles, and to Georgia to meet Vietnam war veterans who, more than 50 years after that war ended, continue to serve today in inspiring ways.
Honor, patriotism, and audacity first sent them onto the battlefield to defend our freedoms from communism. And despite many years and many challenges, they still haven’t lost that spirit.
