The Trump Trials–Georgia (March 1): NTD’s Special LIVE Coverage of Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ Disqualification Hearing

Tune in for NTD’s special live coverage of “The Trump Trials–Georgia,” as attorneys begin final statements in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ disqualification hearing.

Starting at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time, NTD’s Stefania Cox, Chris Beers, and Jack Bradley will bring you live footage from the Fulton County courthouse and legal analysis from experts.

After days of explosive witness testimony, Judge Scott McAfee will now hear arguments from attorneys over whether Ms. Willis and her entire team should be removed from prosecuting the high-profile election case against former President Donald Trump and 14 alleged coconspirators.

Defendants have argued that Ms. Willis’ romance with a special prosecutor she hired created a conflict of interest. They say she paid Nathan Wade large sums for his work, and then benefited improperly when he paid for vacations for the two of them.

Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade have acknowledged the relationship, but said they didn’t begin dating until after Mr. Wade was hired—and that they split their travel expenses.

President Trump’s legal team has submitted cell phone data analysis in a court filing that contradicts the relationship timeline provided by the prosecutors. The judge will hear that evidence in Friday’s arguments.
