Top China Economist Proposes Seizing TSMC

One of China’s top economists says, if the United States were to impose Russia-level sanctions on China, China would have to seize Taiwanese company TSMC and basically almost take over the world’s semiconductor industry. Almost all modern technology uses semiconductors, including military equipment.
