A search is underway for a man who allegedly harassed and threatened multiple people while wearing a distinctive, Chucky-style Halloween mask, according to Philadelphia Police on Tuesday.
The incident happened during the early morning hours of Aug. 12, according to police. Investigators said the suspect began approaching people around 5:18 a.m. near 15th and Chestnut Streets.
One of those encounters was captured on surveillance video near City Hall.

The suspect eventually stopped harassing the woman and headed toward Philadelphia's Suburban Station.
In a separate incident, another witness told local media said that the same suspect harassed one of her coworkers at the La Colombe coffee shop, but a security guard intervened.
A woman said she witnessed the suspect trying to force his way into the coffee shop and also saw him approach another person. That witness, identified by 6abc as Jameka, said the suspect turned his attention toward her.
Jameka also told police that she kicked him when he confronted her.
He is described as a black male believed to be between 16 and 20 years old. Investigators said he is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. In addition to the Chucky-style Halloween mask, the suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers, and a black and blue plaid backpack during the reported incidents.
The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone who may have been targeted but has not yet reported the incident, or those with information about the suspect's identity, to come forward. Police also cautioned the public not to approach the suspect and instead call 911.
