The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a wave of recalls on Nov. 26 for multiple household items sold through Amazon and Walmart, affecting more than 300,000 units nationwide.
The products range from camping equipment to baby furniture, each posing serious risks of injury or death to consumers.
Hair dryers sold on Amazon between November 2022 and October 2025 made the list. McLee Creations is recalling its MyOnlyStyler Root Booster hair dryers after discovering they lack an immersion protection device. According to CPSC, the missing safety feature means the dryers present a risk of death or serious injury from electrocution or shock if they fall into water while plugged in.
About 740 units are affected. The company is asking anyone who bought one to unplug the dryers and stop using them immediately. Those who own the recalled hair dryers should contact McLee Creations for a full refund. Customers must send in a photo of the hair dryer with its power cord cut in half to the recall registration portal and follow instructions to throw it away, which is listed on the company website.
Children's safety products were also recalled. Outdoor Master is recalling about 24,300 children's and youth bicycle helmets that do not meet mandatory safety standards. The helmets were sold on Amazon and Walmart from June 2024 through February 2025.
The helmets do not comply with “positional stability and coverage requirements”, meaning they can fail to protect kids during a crash. Such poses a risk of serious injury or death from head injury. Anyone who purchased one of the helmets should stop using them immediately and contact Outdoor Master for a refund.
Baby furniture was also recalled. Three different brands of baby loungers sold on Amazon have been recalled for similar violations of infant sleep product standards.
Sofoliana, Glotika, Macardac, and Alinux baby loungers all have sides that are too low to hold infants and openings at the foot that are wider than allowed. Additionally, none of the loungers have stands, which could lead to a hazardous fall if used on elevated surfaces.
The violations can cause death or serious injury, CPSC said. Combined, about 2,100 units of these loungers are affected. Anyone who purchased one of the products should immediately stop using them. Owners can receive full refunds after destroying the products and sending photos to the manufacturers.
Adult bed rails sold on Amazon have also been recalled. Both Vivohome and KingPavonini adult portable bed rails sold between June 2024 and May 2025 are being recalled over potential entrapment and asphyxiation hazards.
About 400 Vivohome rail units and approximately 81,050 KingPavonini rail units violate mandatory safety standards. Users can become trapped between the rails and the mattress. The bed rails also lack the required hazard warning labels.
Vivohome is offering full refunds to consumers who mark the rails with a permanent marker and send photos. KingPavonini is offering refunds or free replacement rails, but for a refund, consumers must disassemble and photograph the products before disposing of them.
A convertible high chair sold on Amazon between March and June also poses serious risks. About 130 Rotinyard high chairs were sold without required restraint systems, posing a deadly fall hazard to babies. Additionally, children's heads can become trapped in the opening between the seat and tray. Consumers should immediately stop using the high chairs and contact Rotinyard for a full refund. Again, consumers must disassemble the chairs, cut restraints and cushions, and email photos before receiving refunds.
Safety gates sold on Amazon complete the list. About 100 Ikuso safety gates have a design flaw that allows children's torsos to fit through openings between the gate slats and side walls, posing a serious entrapment risk. Consumers should contact Ikuso for a full refund and photograph the gates with "Recalled" written on them before disposing of them.
