White House Race: Analyst Breaks Down Poll Numbers, Key Areas to Watch

More updates on the 2024 race for the White House have come in from a new Morning Consult poll. For the GOP, the poll shows Donald Trump with a sizable lead over Ron DeSantis, at 55 to 20 percent. And the survey says that if the election were held today, President Joe Biden would have a two percent lead over Mr. Trump and a four percent lead over Mr. DeSantis. We spoke to expert Lenny McAllister, senior fellow with the Commonwealth Foundation, to hear about fundraising efforts and what the frontrunners’ chances are.
