International policy expert Michael Szanto and retired Lieutenant Colonel Robert Maginnis, senior fellow for national security at the Family Research Council, joined a panel discussion with NTD's Jack Bradley.

The panel discussed President Donald Trump's Truth Social post saying the U.S. military operation in Iran is "winding down" and what that would entail, the spectacular military success, and the 5,000 additional Marines on their way to settle remaining issues.

They also discussed the United Kingdom allowing the United States to use its bases, President Trump's criticisms of U.S. allies for not doing more to assist, and the need for a robust effort in the Strait of Hormuz.

Col. Maginnis said the president has all of the necessary areas covered, which is why in part, he is sending the Marines to the area.

The panel discussed the economic cost to the U.S., how oil prices will motivate other countries to assist the U.S.,  and what the U.S. is doing to hand off the caretaking of the Strait of Hormuz.

The panel also weighed in on how China has seen a very effective U.S. military and its allies going after and defeating Iran, one of China's key strategic partners, during this operation, and how Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have taken note.
