‘Would You Take the Job?’: Trump Asked About His Becoming Next House Speaker

Former President Donald Trump appeared in court on Oct. 4 for the third day of a civil case against him in New York. He addressed reporters briefly before entering the courtroom. When asked if he would accept Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) call for him to be the next U.S. House Speaker, President Trump said he would do “whatever I can do to help with regard to Speaker.”
