U.S. regulators on Thursday issued recalls for 11 different products, with nine of them manufactured in China, and eight sold through Amazon.

The recalls included hazardous hair growth serums with inadequate child-resistant packaging, baby products that pose entrapment and suffocation risks, defective bicycle helmets, power strips with electrocution hazards, minifridges prone to catching fire, and other dangerous items.

Two Chinese-manufactured hair growth products made the list. Ruahouine Hair Growth Serum, which contains minoxidil, was recalled due to having non-compliant packaging that fails to meet federal child-resistant standards required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), approximately 25,000 units of the 60-milliliter bottles were sold on Amazon between January 2025 and July 2025 for roughly $10 each. The serum poses a risk of serious injury or death if ingested by young children.
Similarly, RootStim Beard Growth Serum spray bottles, manufactured in China and distributed by a Maryland company, violated the same child-resistant packaging mandate. About 16,900 units were sold on Amazon from November 2024 through September 2025 for approximately $20 per bottle. Neither product had resulted in reported injuries.
Several infant and baby products manufactured overseas also made the recall list. Greatale self-feeding pillows, made in China and sold on Amazon for $10 to $20, were recalled because their design holds bottles at unsafe angles that can prevent infants from pulling away, increasing the risk of aspiration and suffocation. About 1,260 units were affected.
The Keawis crib mattresses, another Chinese-manufactured product, violated mandatory safety standards for crib mattresses by potentially leaving dangerous gaps that could trap infants. Roughly 1,700 units priced between $50 and $60 were recalled.
The Bbwoo baby loungers, also Chinese-made and sold on Amazon under the seller name LSY Direct, posed fall and entrapment hazards because the sides were too low and enclosed openings were wider than regulations allow. About 11,900 units, sold between July 2024 and November 2025 for $34 to $39 each, were affected.
Safety equipment also appeared on the recall list. R.X.Y bicycle helmets, manufactured in China and sold on Amazon for about $23, failed to comply with mandatory safety standards for impact absorption, positional stability, labeling, and certification requirements. About 170 units were involved in the recall.
Electrical devices also made the list. Hezi branded power strips with metal enclosures imported from China created electrocution dangers. About 1,320 units—sold on multiple online platforms including Amazon, eBay, Kmart, and Sears for $35 to $56—were recalled.
Energizer Large Power Indicator Lanterns with lithium-ion batteries that posed a risk of overheating also faced recalls. The product was manufactured in China and sold through traditional retailers and Amazon. About 4,100 units manufactured in June 2024 were affected.
Curtis International announced an expansion of its previous Frigidaire minifridge recall—adding approximately 330,000 additional units to its July 2024 recall, which involved 634,000 units. Model EFMIS121 units with specific serial numbers were susceptible to internal electrical short circuits that could cause the plastic housing to catch fire. Six fires had been reported. The units, manufactured in China, were red and sold exclusively at Target stores for around $30.
Two products listed on Thursday’s list were not manufactured in China. Morgan Lane recalled approximately 95 Asher Pajama Sets manufactured in India and sold through its website from March 2024 through May 2025 for about $80 per set due to flammability violations.
Adams Manufacturing recalled about 6,100 StyleWell Adirondack Patio Chairs patio chairs manufactured in Pennsylvania that could crack and collapse, creating fall hazards. These chairs were sold at Lowe's and Home Depot from August 2025 through October 2025 for approximately $25.

No injuries had been reported for any of the recalled products except for the Frigidaire minifridges, which had caused property damage fires. Consumers affected by the recalls were directed to contact manufacturers for refunds, replacements, or to destroy their items, with most requiring photographic evidence of the destroyed product before processing refunds.
