An Amber Alert was issued on Oct. 17 for a missing Fayetteville 15-year-old who may have been abducted, according to multiple reports.
According to the alert, Nixon is a "15-year-old black female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. She has dyed red hair and hazel eyes."
The investigating team have not released any specific details regarding the case or any evidence that has been found in order to upgrade the missing persons alert, according to WTVD. And as of the morning of Oct. 17, police had not found any suspects that might be connected to Nixon's disappearance.
Nixon's father Carton Adams told the news outlet that he just wanted his daughter home safe. He said his daughter, like most teens her age, spent a large amount of time on social media, but since Sept. 25 she had not posted anything.
"I would like to keep positive and believe that my baby is not in any danger, but she loves her family and Neci would have reached out and came home or said something," Adams said. When asked whether he wanted to send a message to his daughter, he said that he just wanted her to come home and that her family missed her.
"Nevi just come home. Just come home, don't worry about any of the consequences, no trouble, no this, no that," he said. "We miss you, just come home."
The Fayetteville Police said that should anyone have any information regarding the missing 15-year-old, it is important to call and report it to the police.
