A passenger bus plunged off a mountain highway in western Nepal before dawn on Monday, killing 19 people. A British national was among the dead, while 25 others were injured in the fatal crash.
The bus was traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu when it fell about 650 feet in Dhading district. Road accidents are common in Nepal’s mountains, where poor roads claim hundreds of lives each year.
