Ralph Hoagland the third was an entrepreneur who helped create the drug store chain, currently the country’s largest.

Hoagland and his business partners began selling health and beauty products out of his apartment in 1963.

Now, CVS has more than 96-hundred locations across the us.

During his career, Hoagland also opened several other small businesses—including a retail store, a cinema, restaurants, and a video game arcade.

Hoagland died last Friday from complications due to posterior cortical atrophy, a dementia-related disease.
