Oh deer! A whitetail doe broke into a home in Kingwood, Texas.

It’s not every day you get one of Bambi’s family members in your house.

That’s what happened to one family in Texas.

The whitetail doe climbed in through a window and then couldn’t find her way out, according to Fox News.

Police came to help direct her back outdoors.

It took some time as the doe seemed to have trouble getting a grip on the slick hardwood floors, sliding everywhere. The deer had the most trouble rounding a corner, taking another tumble.

Upon reaching the door, the doe paused, as if contemplating whether or not to explore more of the alien territory. Perhaps, this time, the memory of the slippery hardwood floors dissuaded her, and finally, she stepped back into the outdoors.

The police said the doe was free to go, as nothing was stolen.
