Domino, Marvel's unique looking mercenary mutant, is coming to "Deadpool 2." Actress Zazie Beetz has been confirmed. Zazie stars opposite Donald Glover on FX's "Atlanta." For a while rumors swirled that singer Janelle Monáe would be cast as Domino. Both Beetz and Monáe could bring savory quirks to the live action Domino.
Domino is considered a failed super soldier experiment. She first appeared in "X-Force" comic books. She's been a love interest to Cable, Wolverine, and even Colossus. She was also a villain at one time, but has since turned good. She has managed to survive many battles and life-threatening injuries through the power of luck alone.

Domino's power of luck isn't an ordinary power. It allows her to beat the odds. If there is a small possibility that something may or may not happen, Domino can use her power to push the odds, no matter how small, in her favor. But the power doesn't mean she can avoid danger all the time, it just means that if she is focused she can come out of it better than others.
"An expert sniper who first appeared in 1992's 'X-Force' #8, Domino is a mutant with the power of probability alteration, something that usually is subconsciously triggered in moments of stress that telekinetically alters the odds in her favors, while giving her opponents some convenient bad luck."In Domino's Marvel appearances her most striking feature was her white skin and black domino dot over her eye. If Fox can give her costume the realism it has managed to give Deadpool and Colossus, then Zazie is sure to be a comic fan's live action dream come true.
Even if Domino wasn't the most popular X-Men related character before the announcement that she would be in the next "Deadpool" movie, her popularity has already started to skyrocket.

Zazie Beetz could be just about the perfect person to play the previously low key Marvel character. She currently plays Donald Glover's complicated girlfriend on "Atlanta," a breakout show that has been renewed for a second season. These days, acting in Marvel superhero movies brings careers to the next level. Playing Domino, Marvel's temptress of probability, is sure to have the same affect on Zazie Beetz's career.
