Kate Monroe, a retired U.S. Marine Corps intelligence analyst, and Mike Sarraille, a retired U.S. Navy SEAL officer and chief talent officer at Overwatch Mission Critical, joined a panel discussion with NTD.

The panel discussed the perceived imminent threat of Iran attacking the United States, its history of targeting the United States, how quickly the United States has degraded Iranian regime capabilities, and the broader ideological and religious conflict that has persisted for decades.

They also discussed the argument for the United States to strike Iran first to neutralize the threat, as well as President Donald Trump’s comments that Operation Epic Fury is successfully eliminating that threat and demonstrating U.S. military superiority.

The panel further discussed a new U.S.–China commission report indicating that Iran depends heavily on China.
