Ferrari Land opened, showcasing high-speed rides and historical Italian displays. It’s the first park in Europe dedicated to the sports car brand. The opening ceremony was led by the son of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, Piero Ferrari.

Instead of solely relying on a ribbon cutting ceremony, Piero pushed a gigantic start-engine button to mark the park’s opening to the public.

One of the rides is “Red Force,” the fastest vertical accelerator in Europe.

“Red Force lets riders experience the acceleration of a Formula One car accelerating to 112 mph (180 km/h) in just 5 seconds and reaching a maximum height of 365 feet (112 meters) along its 3000-foot (880-meter course.
