Harrison Ford told an air traffic controller “I’m the schmuck who landed on the taxiway.”

The controversial landing took place at John Wayne Airport on Feb. 13.

The actor was piloting his single engine Aviat Husky.

He landed on a taxiway instead of a runway.

While landing he flew over an American Airlines Boeing 737 jet carrying 110 passengers.

The audio reveals Ford acknowledging the mistake and saying “It’s a big deal for me.”

There was no damage to the American Airlines jet Ford flew over.

It left shortly after the incident.
