Ken Rapoza, a business and foreign affairs analyst at the Coalition for a Prosperous America, joined NTD’s Steve Lance to discuss U.S. partnerships with Japan and South Korea, including the two countries’ announcement that they will invest billions of dollars in the United States.
Rapoza said that Japan and South Korea have almost never complained about the U.S. tariffs, despite new tariffs being on the cards after a new investigation into U.S. trading partners was announced by U.S. trade representative.
This comes as economies are being disrupted by the U.S. military operation in Iran.
Rapoza also discussed the immediate effect of oil prices as countries such as the UK, France, and other European nations assist in the safe traveling of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
Rapoza also discussed President Donald Trump's goal of U.S. energy dominance, adding that oil prices in the U.S. are the cheapest, but that U.S. dominance should trickle down to lower electricity bills and gas prices for Americans.
