Keira Knightley is expecting a second child with her husband, James Righton.
On May 2, the actress was seen at the Chanel J12 cocktail party in Paris, wearing a cream-colored gown that showed off her baby bump. Knightley and her husband Righton were seen together at the outing in Place Vendôm. She was then seen later that evening cradling her belly.
However, the actress did not openly talk about her pregnancy and the second baby, and neither did Knightley's representative talk about the pregnancy.
Knightley and Righton got married on May 4, 2013. Righton was the keyboardist for the band, Klaxons. The two were wed at the town hall in Mazan, France. The two were engaged for about a year prior to their marriage in 2013.
One attendee told the media outlet that their marriage service was not long, and very few people attended. According to the attendee, the entire wedding ceremony took 30 minutes and took place just before noon.
"Keira looked beautiful," the attendee said. "She wore a very pretty, very elegant dress."
The "Pirates of the Carribean" actress was dating Rupert Friend, a co-star from one of Knightley's previous film, "Pride and Prejudice," but the two broke it off.
Two years after the two got married, Knightley gave birth to her first daughter, Edie. And although the actress never really shared pictures of her daughter, nor talked about her, she did talk about the experience of her life as a mother. In an interview with Balance Magazine, she talked about her hardship of being a mother despite being in a place of privilege.
Other Celebrity Pregnancies
Knightley wasn't the only one to reveal that she was pregnant—Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were also expecting a third child together. Lively, 31, has not been posting to her Instagram feed since Jan. 11. Fans can now suspect it was because she was busy being pregnant with her third child. She and Reynolds, 42, have not said when the baby is due. The expectant couple, who married in September 2012, currently have two daughters—4-year-old James and 2-year-old Inez.
Alanis Morissette is also pregnant—with her third child. The Grammy-winning singer posted a black-and-white photo of herself on March 25 to her Instagram account, revealing her round belly while also singing with headphones covering her ears.
Morissette captioned the photo with, “so much NEWness.” Her representative confirmed the pregnancy to The Associated Press.
The 44-year-old Canadian singer has two children: her son Ever Imre is 8 and her daughter Onyx Solace turns 3 in June.
