Kylie Jenner will have to skip an event she's been looking forward to.
She has been hospitalized in Los Angeles with an undisclosed illness and will have to skip a planned cosmetics rollout at Paris Fashion Week.
The 22-year-old social media star and makeup mogul said on Twitter, on Sept. 25, that she had been preparing to travel for the launch, but got "really sick."
"Unfortunately I'm really sick and unable to travel," Jenner wrote in the note. "I'm heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for this event, will help me be there in spirit."
A representative for Jenner said she is doing well. But not well enough to attend the launch of the Kylie x Balmain makeup collection at Balmain's Paris Fashion Week event Friday.
On Tuesday, she had announced that a new collaboration between her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, and designer Olivier Rousteing of Balmain would be unveiled in Paris Friday.

Neither Jenner or the representative gave details on what illness sent her to the hospital.
"Make sure you guys watch the show with me on Friday. It’s going to an epic event and I can’t wait," Jenner wrote on Twitter.
After the launch of a $29 lip kit in 2016, Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup ever since, with other cosmetic products such as eye shadows and concealers debuting later. The value of the company was estimated to be $800 million in 2018, and she owns it 100 percent.
Besides her makeup career, Jenner has also made product endorsements and TV programs.
It is fair to name Jenner the youngest person on the fourth annual America’s self-made richest woman list.
