Mexican social media personality Adriana García has died at age 30, Drop Shop, a Mexican luxury streetwear brand she was affiliated with, announced on Tuesday in an Instagram post.

The company wrote that it was saying goodbye to "a member of the Drop Shop family" and remembered her for "her kindness, her dedication, and the moments we shared with her.”

The brand extended condolences to García's "family, daughter, and friends," wishing them "strength and peace during this difficult time," and closed the tribute with, "Rest in peace, Adriana—you will always be part of the Drop Shop family.”

Drop Shop, which has over 3 million followers on Instagram, did not specify how or under what circumstances García died.

García amassed an Instagram audience of more than 48,000 followers, where she regularly posted lifestyle content. She is survived by her 6-year-old daughter.

Her last known update came on July 1, when she shared a set of photographs from an earlier trip to Los Cabos. The caption on that post read, "Photos I didn't upload.” The images appeared to be previously unshared material from the getaway rather than a new adventure.

News of García's death prompted an outpouring of comments beneath the influencer's latest post. One person wrote, "Poor daughter 🥺 a lot of strength for the family.” Another follower wrote, "Rest in peace beautiful,” while a third simply wrote, "I'm in shock.”

García's death adds to a list of recent losses among Latin American social media figures.

Separately, Brazilian content creator Ulissias Marcelli Couto Flores Cardial, 30, who was named as host for the upcoming Rock Gaya Festival, was found shot to death alongside her boyfriend, Vinícius Souza de Carvalho, 28, on a rural road outside Porto Seguro, Bahia state, according to Brazilian outlet G1. Police told G1 they are investigating whether the killings were tied to an unpaid drug debt or unauthorized drug sales linked to a criminal organization in the area, and no arrests had been announced.
In another case, German travel influencer Laura Viktoria Härtig, 30, died on July 12—nearly three weeks after a head-on bicycle collision with former Olympic alpine skier Peter Runggaldier during her honeymoon in northern Italy, according to Italian outlets Trentino and il Dolomiti.

Additional Brazilian influencers who died in recent weeks include Thaís Moura, 31, who died on July 12 after a motorcycle crash in Volta Redonda; Kauana Bilhar, 26, who died on July 7 after a fall from a Dubai residential tower; and Anna Clara de Souza Rocha, 27, who died on June 21 when her vehicle overturned in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro state.

No additional details about García's cause of death have been released.
