Miss Earth Indonesia 2025 titleholder Putri Andriani Juficha has died, according to an announcement from the Miss Grand Indonesia pageant organization made on what would have been her 26th birthday.
Juficha, who also placed as a runner-up in the Miss Grand Indonesia 2025 competition, passed away on Aug. 14. A cause of death has not been disclosed at this time.
The Miss Grand Indonesia Organization shared the news in an a statement on Instagram, writing, "With deepest sorrow, the Miss Grand Indonesia Organization mourns the passing of Putri Andriani Juficha, Runner-Up Miss Grand Indonesia 2025.”
The organization continued, "You were more than a titleholder. You were part of our Grand family, a beautiful soul whose grace, strength, and spirit touched so many hearts.”
Background and Achievements
Juficha was crowned Miss Earth Indonesia 2025 in an announcement shared on the official Miss Earth Instagram account on Sept. 30, 2025.The post described her as a communications graduate pursuing a master's degree in law. Dedicated to environmental advocacy, Juficha focused her efforts on promoting waste recycling, protecting rivers from pollution, and safeguarding both communities and the planet. The organization stated that she sought to combine her background in communications with her growing expertise in environmental law to empower society with knowledge and practical solutions for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Beyond her environmental and legal pursuits, Juficha was also a singer who had released a song linked in her biography.
The pageant's Instagram announcement drew condolences from followers and industry accounts. Metro Pageant commented on the post, "Your journey may have come to an end, but your memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved you, love you.”
Another commenter, who indicated a personal relationship with Juficha, wrote that she had seen her in good spirits just days earlier, recalling, "Ms. Putri, rest in peace,” the commenter wrote. “Just a few days ago you were at the office still in good health and cheerful..., I didn't expect it to be the first and last meeting … You are beautiful and kind, may Allah widen your place in the Barzah world.”
