Her 2-year-old baby died of cancer, so she gave thousands of other struggling families a ray of hope!

This couple were ecstatic when they became the proud parents of a beautiful little girl , but their happiness was short-lived when they lost their daughter to cancer. These parents now are supporting other families going through similar traumas.

Bree and Luke Rowand live in Alpine, California. They were shocked to learn that their beautiful daughter, Kylie Elizabeth Rowand, would spend most of her little life fighting just to stay alive. It is the children who bury their aged parents; no parents deserve to go through the trauma of burying their babies. But the Rowands had to, when cancer took away their two-year-old little baby.

Now, they live just with memories of her. Suffering the pain themselves, they have now taken up the cause of hunting down this horrible illness to help prevent other parents from suffering the way they did.

When something this tragic happens, you need a lot of emotional and financial support.

Kylie was only 19 months when she was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a deadly form of cancer.

For most of her life, this brave little girl fought just to stay alive. Her loving parents stayed by her side, never once giving up hope!

At 19 months, Kylie was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a deadly form of cancer.

As time passed, Kylie’s condition continued to worsen. People from all over gave their support during this 14 month struggle that the family went through.

They created a Facebook page called “Prayers For Kylie, God’s Little Warrior.”

Meanwhile, Kylie's condition continued to worsen and there didn't seem to be an end, at least not a positive one to this 14-month battle.

Luke and Bree were fortunate enough to get a lot of support through the online community. Over 200,000 people joined Kylie’s Facebook page and provided support in both cash and kindness to help the distraught family.

Kylie’s struggle came to an end and she finally passed away on February 7th, 2015.

Despite every possible treatment available, Kylie passed away on February 7th, 2015.

Dealing With the Emptiness

Bree took it upon herself and her husband to hunt down and fight the dreaded enemy. Cancer is now “most wanted” on her list as her daughter’s murderer. The bereaved couple used all the money they had collected through donations by the over 200,000 members across 47 countries to support other unfortunate families and children.

Although, Kylie's life may have been brief, it made a huge impact on her mom and dad.

Although Kylie wasn't murdered by a human being, Bree calls the cancer that took away her daughter a murderer.

In only a short period of time, Bree and Luke have managed to raise $400,000.

In only a few short months, Bree and Luke have managed to raise enough money to help other parents out.

Even though Kylie is no longer with them in the physical sense, she's still doing a lot for people.

This fight against cancer has given Bree and Luke a purpose in life. Bree even became pregnant again and they had a boy, Lucas Kyler.

Even in their fight to put an end to cancer, Bree and Luke have found a brand new reason to live.

Kylie may have gone forever, but for her parents, she will never be forgotten. She left a huge legacy behind that her parents wish to honor.

One thing the couple plans on doing is telling Lucas about his brave little sister Kylie and her struggle with cancer.

Bree’s continues her fight against cancer through a series of blog posts to raise awareness and money for her cause.

In the blog titled, “A Disease Murdered My Daughter, and I Want Justice”, Bree discusses the painful struggle daughter and parents underwent during her treatment.

When it comes to cancer, there's only one form of justice, and the couple intend to get it.
