The NCAA might allow schools to be able to pay their athletes. Now does this mean these students would be regarded as employees instead?
The changes would allow these schools to pay their athletes for their name, image, and likeness—like everyone else.
A lot of the organizations that already pay these athletes their NIL deals are simply collections of alumni pooling their money together.
Maybe now it can be more officially done through the school as well. That’s another unclear part.
