The death toll from floods in Nepal and Tibet continues to climb. More than 670 people are now confirmed dead, and nearly 3,000 remain missing, including 90 Americans.
Chinese authorities are reporting seven deaths and more than 550 missing. The actual number of casualties from such events may be much higher as the Chinese regime routinely suppresses or alters information.
The Chinese Communist Party is also being accused of censoring footage of floods in Nepal and Tibet.
