Rep. Obernolte discussed the technological benefits of space exploration, how the mission allows the United States to refine technologies, and how it benefits the economy as well.

Rep. Obernolte said he hopes the Artemis missions give optimism and pride to the current generation of young Americans, and how important space and deep space technology and exploration are for the U.S. to continue to be the dominant geopolitical power in the world.

Rep. Obernolte added that it is important to invest in space technology, how NASA has paved the way for 60 years for commercial orbital companies, and that the public-private partnership is a model for how things should be done in the long term.
