People Run From Shaking Skyscraper in China’s Shenzhen

People ran from a skyscraper in China’s Shenzhen on Tuesday, as the building began to shake.

An eyewitness told Reuters the 72-story skyscraper began shaking around 1:50 p.m.

She added that she believed everyone had been evacuated from the building, with firefighters and police working at the scene.

Video shows people looking up at the building as they crowded into the surrounding area of Huaqiangbei.

The Shenzhen Emergency Management Bureau said there had not been an earthquake at the time, according to the South China Morning Post.
