Rainbow Appears Above Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano

A rainbow appeared over the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii on Feb. 16. Kilauea is one of the most volcanically active locations on Earth. The volcano has had intermittent eruptions since Dec. 23, 2024, with lava flows—and fountains—continuing into 2026.
